On the right hand side in the same spot there is another set of bars that shows the debuffs and things that I can do to my opponent - kidney shot, cheap shot, my DoTs, blind, my snares, etc. things that come and go quickly throughout the fight. To the left of the screen you can see another set of bars though - this shows my short-term self buffs, HoTs, etc. You can see in the upper left, I have 3 sets of bars - one is for buffs, another is for debuffs, and the third is just for weapon buffs (poisons/oils). And cut yourself.Ī few notes on ElkBuffBars, cause it's possibly the most important of all my addons. So when somebody is like "how the hell did you die so quick?" it's very easy to shift+click the 8k/8k/6k that an arcane mage just did to you in 2 GCDs.

EavesDrop is WAY easier to read through than the combat log, and you can shift+click when chat is open to show it to the rest of your team.
#Gladius 3.3.5a how to
This addon has a bit of a learning curve but it will serve you well if you learn it.ĮavesDrop - Half of improving yourself in arena is figuring out what happened, identifying why you died, and learning how to counter that in the future. You can easily see exactly how long the DoT will stay on you, or how long your HoT will be ticking for, visually. Instead of little pictures for buffs, it displays the picture + name + visual bar that shows the duration on the buff. StatusBars2 - A matter of personal opinion, this is a set of bars you stick right below your character that shows health/mana/combo points in a very easy to read format (none of the crazy "HUD" bars on the sides of your character).ĮlkBuffBars - I wouldn't be able to live without this addon. Post by Polatrite Sex圜ooldown - Displays a bar on your screen that shows your cooldowns visually, so you can easily see when things are coming off of cooldown (before it actually happens). Thanks, and I hope this helped you a little bit. Also, if anybody has managed to get Power Auras/Gladius to notify you when a Polymorph breaks or a Grounding Totem is placed, and could help me out with that, that would be fantastic. That's all I've got, hopefully somebody will chime in with a few more helpful ones that I can try out. Spellsteal Report - This is mostly for Mages, but I'm assuming it will work for any class with dispels, you can output this to your scrolling combat text so you'll know what you've dispelled immediately. Scrolling Combat Text - Always nice to have if you can deal with the screen clutter it puts out. Power Auras Classic - Good for keeping track of procs, or enemy spell usage/buffs. Natur Enemy Cast Bar - Arguable whether you need this or not with Gladius, I have it anyway, might get rid of it. Quartz - Includes latency in your cast bar, makes you WAY more reactive, and latency will affect you less.ĭoom Cooldown Pulse - It lets you know when something's off of cooldown by fading an image of whatever is off of cooldown in the middle of your screen for a second. I have mine set up to say in /p whenever somebody uses their trinket, it's awesome.)

Trinkets, Buffs, Unit Frames, you name it and it probably has it. Post by Goyoma Gladius - Good for a whole lot of things.
